Description:
The Sustainability Centre is situated on top of the South Downs, three miles south of the picturesque village of East Meon. The Centre is on the South Downs Way and surrounded by a network of footpaths and lanes.
The Centre sits in 55 acres of woodland and natural chalk downland, with several ponds and some open grassland. Our Visitor Centre holds information and displays in the foyer, has office space and also seminar rooms, catering facilities and a cafe area.
The Wetherdown hostel has been refitted using sustainable building materials and boasts an integrated solar photovoltaic roof and a wood chip biomass boiler.
We are just a few steps from the South Downs Way National Trail so we also welcome walkers, cyclists and families. Whatever your reason for visiting us , we will try and make your stay as enjoyable as possible
