An old long redundant stone building has been tastefully turned into Turpins Lodge Cottage. Original beams remain, and the original stone work has been renovated and renewed, the pine floors conceal underfloor heating operated by the oil fired Rayburn in a fully fitted kitchen, including dishwasher, washer/drier and fridge. The luxury bathroom has a spa bath and shower with massage jets.

The Cottage is situated between the villages of Hook Norton, Milcombe, Sibford and Wigginton, next door to Turpins Lodge Riding School. Broughton Castle is about 3 miles, Sudeley Castle and Sulgrave Manor (home of George Washington's ancestors) are nearby.

Banbury and Chipping Norton are approximately 6 miles away and it is within 1 hour of Oxford, Warwick, with the historic Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon of William Shakespeare fame, Cheltenham (Cheltenham races)and Silverstone.. And within half an hour of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh,and Bourton on the Water.

The Cottage is situated next door to Turpins Lodge Riding School where we are able to offer horse riding for all ages and abilities.  Association of British Riding Schools approved and Council Licenced.

Come and enjoy riding on our safe sensible horses and ponies. We are set in 30 acres of Oxfordshire countryside with access to miles of bridleways giving excellent off road riding.
