An open New Forest style landscape of grassland, heath and bog within easy reach of Southampton.

Here you can walk from boardwalked boggy wetlands on to dry gorse clad heaths in a relatively small area. This variety of habitats supports many plants and animals, with the specialised wetland plants of Emer Bog and
the birds and butterflies of Baddesley Common. To keep the plant and invertebrate interest, cattle graze the open areas.
