Description:
Titchfield Haven NNR is owned and managed by the Hampshire County Council.
Titchfield Haven NNR - part of the lower floodplain of the Meon river - is a low lying and generally flat area. The site was formerly the estuary of the River Meon.
This is one of 10 sites on the south coast that are vital pre-migratory feeding places for wetland birds. The site is also home to plants and animals that have a highly restricted distribution in southern England.
Location and access
Titchfield Haven NNR is 2.5 km south west of Stubbington. The reserve is open Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holidays (not 25th or 26th December) 9.30am to 5.00pm (summer) or 4.00pm (winter).
Times may be changed for British Summer Time and according to weather and light conditions.
Admission is free to the Visitor Centre, however there is an admission charge to Reserve.
Facilities
Toilet and refreshment facilities are available at the reserve's visitor centre.
