Visitors can enjoy a walk through the forest gardens which have the largest collection of conifers on one site in the world together with a variety of flowering shrubs, rhododendrons, azaleas, and broadleaf trees. There are also beautiful picnic spots round the lily filled Marshal's lake and opportunities to enjoy flowering meadows, orchids and heather during the summer months. Refreshments are available at the pantry and dogs are welcome when kept on leads.
