Description:

Chimney Meadows near Bampton in west Oxfordshire is the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust’s largest nature reserve. Purchased in 2003, the site totals 250 hectares of wildlife rich land along the banks of the River Thames.


This vast and tranquil area of fields, pastures and nationally acclaimed wildflower meadows is a vital refuge for waders.


Work is continuing to transform the area into a spectacular site for people and wildlife.
