Description:
Rare chalk grassland species and wildlife rich fen in Oxon.
Cowslips flourish here in spring, while pale blue harebells appear in late summer. Great willowherb and meadowsweet grow lushly among the tall reeds, together with a host of smaller flowers such as creeping-jenny and water forget-me-not. On winter evenings an atmospheric mist rises.
