Description:

Longdown Activity Farm is perfect for a family day out - there really is something for everyone. As always, the emphasis is on "hands-on" activities for all ages. The daily timetable includes bottle-feeding goat kids and
calves, meeting the pigs and of course plenty of opportunity to handly small animals such as baby rabbits and chicks.

Billy the Shire horse is looking forward to greeting all his old friends at the Farm and to meeting new ones too. As well as Billy, we have donkeys, woolly alpacas, ducks, chickens and plenty more animals to meet.

If the weather is bad, Longdown Activity Farm has three brilliant indoor play areas, which include a ball pool, climbing frames, lots of trampolines and a huge straw barn for the children to run off all that energy. So
whatever the weather, there's always something to do.

The tearoom is open every day serving light refreshments and hot and cold drinks. Gift Shop.

New for 2008 is the Longdown Farm Shop stocking a wide range of delicious locally produced food sourced from the New Forest and Hampshire.

Admission prices for 2008 are £6.75 for adults and £5.75 for children ages 3 - 14 years. A family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children remains at the 2007 price of £23.00.

Open daily from 16 February to 2nd November 2008. 10am - 5pm. Last admission is 4pm. Weekends only in November and December, then daily from 13 to 21 December inclusive.

Just off the A35 at Ashurst, between Southampton and Lyndhurst. For more information and a timetable of activities see our website. (link above).
