A stroll (suitable for wheelchairs) - suitable for walkers, cyclists, and wheelchairs. About 3 miles (4.5 km) 1.5 hours. From Exceat cross the A259 and head towards the sea on the concrete path. The Cuckoo Trail (suitable for wheelchairs) - The trail runs along a disused railway line, between Polegate and Heathfield. Arlington Reservoir Walk - 3.5 miles/6km. Starting and finishing at Berwick railway station and offers great views of the reservoir and the downs. This 49 hectare site supports diverse habitats with 173 recorded bird species. To access this walk from Alfriston catch the weekend Cuckmere Ramblerbus to the station.
