Walking in Alresford and the surrounding region is enormously varied, from guided city walks in Winchester to long distance trails across the Downs. Whatever your energy level there are many ways to discover the area by foot.

- The 40-mile Watercress Tour explores the Itchen and Meon Valleys. Many of the sites, villages, accommodation and places to eat and drink have been included in this itinerary.
