Fairthorne Manor Golf Club

Set in the beautiful woods and parklands of Fairthorne Manor at Curdridge near Botley, Fairthorne Manor Golf Club offers an interesting challenge to golfers of all standards and experience. Originally established as a 9 hole course in 1972, the course was upgraded to its current 18-hole, par-62 status in 1994 and the two 9-hole sections present distinctly different terrains and challenges.

Fairthorne Manor YMCA

Picturesquely situated in 111 acres of parkland and woodland on the banks of the river Hamble, Fairthorne Manor is a children’s and family activity centre. Visited by over 15000 children and young people each year, the grounds provide a stimulating, safe and secure environment with facilities for pursuits including abseiling, aerial runway, climbing and obstacle course. Day camps are offered every school holiday, plus family club, canoe club, a day nursery and golf course.

Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Activities Centre

The Centre, a registered charity, opened in 1978 and since then has been instrumental in enabling thousands of disabled people to access a variety of adventure activities. Bookings can be taken for day or half day sessions and there is accommodation for up to 48 people in six timber cabins in a 400 acre country park. All ages and all abilities are catered for. The activities available include canoeing and motorboat trips on the Hamble River, indoor climbing walls, horse riding, orienteering, ropes course and archery. AALA registered.
