Whether you’re a casual walker or are looking for something more challenging, you’ll find a route to suit you in Stockbridge and its surrounding countryside. There are local themed walks, circular walks and links with long distance walks:

1. The Test Way is a 44 mile walking route that starts at Inkpen in the North of Test Valley, passes through Stockbridge High street and continues onto Mottisfont along the old railway line and through Stockbridge Common, finally finishing in Eling.

2. Stockbridge poetry trail stretches the length of Stockbridge High Street. Search for the 10 poems all composed by Test Valley residents.

3. Three of the 15 Test Valley Tour run close to Stockbridge:

· Route K – start & finish Wherwell Sports Pavillion, approx 5.5 miles. Passes through Chilbolton, 4 miles north of Stockbridge

· Route M – start & finish King Sombourne Village Hall, approx 3.5 miles. Stockbridge is just 3 miles north of Kings Sombourne.

· Route N - start & finish King Sombourne Village Hall, approx 8 miles. Stockbridge is just 3 miles north of Kings Sombourne
