The Eden Valley is just as good for short walks and gentle strolls as it is for long-distance walking. With many miles of footpaths, there is something for walkers of all abilities. A selection are outlined below but many more are detailed at our website: www.edenvalleykent.org.uk
Eden Valley Walk 3
Starting in the centre of Edenbridge with its shops, pubs, a variety of places in which to eat, historic buildings (including the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul and the Eden Valley Museum) and the convenient Edenbridge Town station, this walk follows the attractive River Eden. It goes past Devil’s Den and out to the village of Marsh Green, with its pub, before returning to the town centre.

Eden Valley Walk 5
Starting in Swan Lane in the north of the town, near Edenbridge station and the Swan pub, this walk crosses farmland, goes through a deer park and passes a restored moat, once part of a Saxon manor.

Chiddingstone – Chiddingstone Causeway
This is a circular walk linking Chiddingstone, Penshurst, Charcott and Chiddingstone Causeway (Penshurst Station). The walk takes you through fields and woodlands, close to Penshurst Place and the villages of Charcott and Chiddingstone.

Eden Valley Walk
A linear route along the valleys of the River Eden and the River Medway. The walk, between Edenbridge and Tonbridge, passes through parkland, woodland and open fields in the heart of the Eden Valley. The route is also rich in historical architecture, running close to Hever Castle and Penshurst Place.
