There is a wonderful network of rights of way around Watlington, including the icknield way (ridgeway national trail), offering many possibilities for walking. You can either stick to the flatter routes in the Vale or climb up the wooded Watlington Hill or other viewpoints on the ridge for magnificent views.

Watlington Walk 1 - Watlington Town Walk
This short walk of about 2 miles takes you through the historic town of Watlington.

This 7 mile circular walk takes you out of Watlington to discover hidden valleys and medieval hamlets.
