Steyning is located in West Sussex and is easily accessible from both the A27 coastal road and the A24. Steyning has no rail connection of its own but can easily be reached from the nearby Shoreham-by-sea station

By Car

Steyning lies in conveniently between the A24 and A23, just north of the A27. The A283 runs past the town. Free car-parking is available in Steyning at several of the towns car parks.

The nearest mainline station is is approximately 5 miles from Steyning at Shoreham-by-Sea which is on the main South Coast line between Brighton and Portsmouth and London and the central South Coast.

Steyning is well served by buses for travel to major towns Buses Numbers 20 and 20A run from Brighton via Shoreham-by-Sea and via Upper Beeding and Bramber to Steyning.

Use the Coastal Link multi-use pathway that runs from the River Adur footbridge at Shoreham-by-Sea to Bramber where it links to the South Downs Way and the Downslink to Guildford.
