Description:
A mountain bike ride taking in sections of the North Downs Way as well as other public and permissive bridleways and country lanes. There will be plenty of rest stops (including café and toilets at Newlands Corner) and a few words from the ranger on the work SWT does to promote access and conserve wildlife, and how to ride responsibly. The route will cross-busy roads and all riders should be confident cycling on and off road. No under 12’s due to distance and steep terrain. Approx distance 10-12 miles. All cyclists’ mush wear helmets: no helmet, no ride! Cyclists under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring a drink, snack, tool kit and spare inner tube. Grid ref: TQ 035 458.
