Description:

The 30th Annual Walk along the full length of the beautiful South Downs Way National Trail.

Coach transport is provided to and from various points along the south coast for the nine days of this ever popular event.

In June 2009 we walk from Eastbourne, over the chalk cliffs of Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters, to finish nine days later in the ancient city of Winchester - beneath the imposing statue of King Alfred.

Along the way there are orchids, butterflies, Southdown sheep, pretty villages with pubs and teashops to be visited and, of course, from the hilltops those spectacular views every day.

The sense of fun and well-being builds up over the nine days and the atmosphere at the end of walk party is always amazing.
