The Heavy Horse Spectacular, Sunday 4 June, Weald & Downland Open Air Museum The grace and strength of the giants of the horse world will be on display in a magnificent gathering this summer at the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum, at Singleton, near Chichester, West Sussex. The Heavy Horse Spectacular on Sunday 4 June is one of the biggest of its kind in the south and features displays, demonstrations and a grand parade guaranteed to delight visitors of all ages.

CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL PREVIEW EVENING
Channel 4 and Racing UK presenter Nick Luck will host West Berkshire Racing club’s annual preview of the Cheltenham Festival. The preview, to be held in the Hennessy Restaurant at Newbury Racecourse on Wednesday March 8, will also feature Channel 4 presenter Tanya Stevenson, Lambourn trainer Noel Chance, jockey Joe Tizzard and the Racing Post’s ‘Trading Post’ journalist, Matt Williams.

From Newbury with love: a table for two!
Love is definitely in the air at Newbury Racecourse next Saturday – thanks to unprecedented demand for tables for two in the restaurant. With Valentines Day on February 14, Saturday’s raceday (February 11) is the nearest available date for giving loved ones a romantic day out at the races. The phone has not stopped ringing at Newbury Racecourse, and the Racegoers’ Restaurant has seen 100 per cent take-up with most of the bookings being couples.
