Horse drawn omnibus tours the New Forest
Visitors to the New Forest can enjoy a rare breeds spectacle - a 1906 omnibus, the Ringwood Rover, being pulled by a team of magnificent Suffolk Punch horses.
Working with the New Forest District Council, and the New Forest National Parks Authority, Mo Hall and Stephen Jones are hoping to use funds from the Sustainable Development fund to provide a real job of work for the horses, proving they can have a practical role to fill in modern life and raise awareness for the breed.
If they're successful, Mo and Stephen hope to use the horse drawn omnibus to travel around summer holiday playschemes and introduce Suffolk horses and the concept of rare breed heavy horses to a wider audience.
