CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL PREVIEW EVENING, WEDNESDAY, 7 MARCH

The West Berkshire Racing Club is staging its annual preview of National Hunt Racing’s most prestigious meeting, the four day Cheltenham Festival, on Wednesday 7 March at 8 pm in the Hennessy Restaurant at Newbury Racecourse.

The Festival Preview is the Club’s longest standing and most popular event and this year bookmakers Coral have agreed to sponsor the event. Alongside making a contribution towards the costs of the evening Coral will also be giving everyone who attends a Free £20 Coral Bet on any Festival race of their choice.


With the festival now extended to four days it is more important than ever that Cheltenham racegoers and those watching on TV are armed with the best information and the guest panel should provide just that.

The Club has lined up a panel of experts with a wide knowledge of racing including; journalist, Geoff Lester; Channel 4 Racing’s, Tanya Stevenson; jockey, Wayne Hutchinson; trainer, Brendan Duke and Dave Stevens from Coral.


The Club looks forward to welcoming old friends and new to this exciting event.

Admission to the event costs just £5

Pay bar, tea and coffee available

Proceeds will be donated to the Injured Jockey’s Fund.
