Double delight for South East retailers

The Jolly Farmers Food Emporium at Betchworth in Surrey was declared the “Best Diversification” in Britain, whilst SW Doughty butchers at Doddington in Kent won a national commendation in the “Local Food” category at the Countryside Alliance’s Best Rural Retailer awards ceremony in London on 6th February

Old Lodge to sponsor Queen Elizabeth II Cup

The Queen Elizabeth II Cup, now also open to male riders and which heralds sweeping changes to the Longines Royal International Horse Show schedule, is to be sponsored by Old Lodge.

Hickstead, host to the oldest show on the British calendar since 1992, recently announced that it had agreed to a request from the FEI to change the format of this historical class. The Queen Elizabeth II Cup was presented in 1949 and has been open only to lady riders. It now becomes a prestigious national final with a prize fund of £9.000, open to the top 20 male and female riders on the BSJA International Trial List.
