Wednesday 18 August 11am until 4pm

Hands-on creative fun and activities continue this Wednesday 18 August at the Museum, with the final session taking place the following week on Wednesday 25 August. Accompanied children can enjoy arts, crafts, traditional countryside activities, and seeing the Shire horses and farm animals. Enjoy a walk in the woods, feed the hungry ducks on the millpond, and visit the Tudor kitchen.

Please dress for outside play, under cover if wet.

Activities include:

  • Lantern making 
  • ‘Enjoy’ life as a medieval peasant! 
  • Leaf printing
  • Make some bunting 
  • Museum trail
  • Brick making 
  • Willow weaving
  • See the working donkeys 
  • Playground games
  • Maypole dancing
