Description:

Bewl Water reservoir is the largest stretch of open water in south east England. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in the heart of the High Weald on the Kent and Sussex border, the reservoir is host to a huge variety of wildlife and one of the region’s most popular attractions.

Bewl Canoe Club offers Kayaking/canoeing at the Southern Water reservoir on the borders of Kent and Sussex near Tunbridge Wells. The club has instructors who can teach and test up to and including 3 star.
The club welcomes people of all ages and experience, the paddling environment is suited for all levels.

During the summer months, April to October, the club meets on Friday evenings from 5PM to sunset. In addition to this, day trips are organised to local rivers, according to demand. In winter, as well as local trips, for those of suitable ability there are weekend and longer trips further afield, e.g. Welsh white water.
