Hayling Island is approximately 5 miles from Portsmouth and easily accessible from most areas particularly London which is about 1 hour 15 mins by car or train. Hayling Island boasts some of the best kitesurfing conditions in the UK, due to the West Winner sand bar, which is visible from mid to low tide and creates perfect learning conditions with flat shallow water over a kilometre out to sea. Hayling Island Kitesurf School was established in 1999. All instruction is carried out by Chris Bull, a qualified IKO instructor since 1999 and a competitive Pro Kitesurfer since 2000, a BKSA National Trainer and over 12 years of power kiting knowledge, there is very little Chris doesn’t know about kitesurfing and kiting in general. All equipment, tuition and insurance are included in the price. We have a limited selection of wetsuits available if required.
