| Terrain Details | An easy walk without stiles. However, the route crosses open common, much of it not on Public Rights of Way, so not as well signposted. | ||||||
| Additional Info / Warnings | This walk is based around Chailey Common Nature Reserve, and much of the route crosses open common. Many of the paths used are not Public Rights of Way, therefore signposting is not used as extensively as other walks in this series. Please therefore pay close attention to the route description and map, a compass may also be helpful. | ||||||
| Access Info / Public Transport | Buses: Bus services operate between Uckfield and Haywards Heath, and from Lewes, with a stop in North Chailey. Trains: Haywards Heath station (approx. 5 miles from North Chailey) is on the London to Brighton line and has a regular service. Parking: Parking is available in North Chailey. | ||||||
