Route Overview This 4.5 mile walk between Emsworth and Langstone uses some of the most attractive paths in the harbour and is full of historical interest. It is described starting and finishing at Emsworth but parking is available in Langstone.

Terrain Details In wet weather, some of the paths can be very muddy.
Additional Info / Warnings Emsworth, an attractive village, is home to two sailing clubs and is well worth exploring - the leaflet gives further details and explains how to link this walk to a circular walk around Thorney Island. Tides - tide times must be consulted as part of the walk floods at high tide. Avoid walking at least 1 hour either side of high tide. Access Info / Public Transport By car - Parking (pay and display) is available in two car parks, the nearest is in South Street (off the village centre) and the other (and cheaper one) can be found just to the north of the roundabout on the A259 on the right, behind a local shop. By bus - Service 700 runs from Chichester to Havant and stops in Emsworth. For bus information telephone: 01903 237661. By train - regular service from Chichester and Havant stopping at Emsworth. Services / Amenities Toilets - are available in South Street car park, Emsworth. Cafés - there are several cafés in Emsworth. Pubs - there are several pubs in Emsworth and two at Langstone on the route of this walk.
